A concerning new trend has been growing among teens with the use of various types of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and nicotine dispensers. While vaping and vape devices are more well known and obvious, Juuls are becoming more and more popular and easier to conceal. Juuls are devices similar in size and appearance to a USB flashdrive; in fact, they even plug into a USB port to charge. Inside the device is a cartridge with a liquid containing nicotine and many other harmful chemicals. Flavors of both Juuls and vapes seem specifically targeted to students. Advertisements and marketing the devices as a healthy alternative to cigarettes also add to the appeal for youths.
